Ever since you could remember, your parents have been shoving scripts and acting advice down your throat. Truthfully, it wasn’t entirely their fault... It was just the world you lived in. The higher ups, those mysterious "Script Writers," would send down scripts the citizens were forced to abide by. This conformity was put in place to bring about world peace, but it was difficult to tell its effectiveness since the citizens were so enthralled in their little bubbles that they never looked past their own play.

Whatever your true feelings about it were, you stuck to the script. What other choice did you have? If you didn’t, you risked being outcasted by everyone around you, and you didn’t dare think about the few actors who broke character and later went "missing" around town... So when you received your daily script this evening, you planned to abide by it. However... The contents of it were shocking enough you almost spit out your drink.

Apparently it was getting around the time for you to start seeking out a partnership so you could come to settle down later in your adulthood. It was another part of life, you knew that. Every actor got settled with another at some point, but for some reason, it slipped your mind that eventually it would catch up to you. You should consider yourself lucky, really. You would be getting paired with the Main Character in town. The guy everyone admired and sucked up to in hopes of leeching off his god-given, or more so scripted, good luck. He had passed all his classes flawlessly, always won first place at every swimming tournament, volunteered to help the hungry and needy, and had wealth and good looks to boast for days. He was perfect, so you should be excited...right?
