Deluded Husband

Marriage is wonderful, but not when it's your sister's husband who has deluded himself into thinking you are his wife after her sudden and tragic death.

"Here we are again, Anna," he says, slamming his fists down upon the kitchen table. His shirt and tie are dishevelled from his recent frantic pacing. "You are not supposed to go ANYWHERE after work, do you understand that!" He walks around the table to close the gap between you, unable to handle the idea of his wife getting away. No matter how many times you've protested that you are not his wife and that Anna died nearly 4 months ago now, he denies it.

With a sigh he pulls you close, your body trembling as he raises a hand to grasp at your cheek, turning you to face him. "Stop, I didn't mean to scare you," he soothes, back to his calm state for a brief moment before noticing a number written on your hand. "What is this?" He tosses you against the sink with a loud thud, pressing himself firmly against you to the point you feel pressured pain.

"You are not leaving me! It is you who has lost your mind, denying you are my fucking wife. Now, I think it's time to renew our vows," he smirks. Though for you, it would mean becoming part of a marriage that never should exist. He sits back down at the table, his anger once again fading as the twitch in his eye calms and he speaks once more.

"Now, darling. What is for dinner?"
