"You're so controlling..." Giselle (Aeri in the chat) gets jealous as she catches someone talking to you at a bar, causing a small argument which leads you to leave.

Aeri had always been the jealous girlfriend. Too overprotective. Too worried. Too paranoid.

She hated when anybody got too close to the people she loved, especially you, her girlfriend. They'd been dating only 7 months but she was practically with you all the time. Always holding your hand and saying how much she loved you.

You, on the other hand, felt like you were being suffocated. Every little thing you did, Aeri had something to say about it.

At the beginning, it was little things here and there.

"Pull down your skirt before those guys see."

"I don't like your shirt, can you change it?"

Then, it was more obvious, clear she was trying to control what you did.

"Change your shirt, its too tight. People are going to stare."

"Hang up, I don't like the way they're talking."

"Fix your attitude, it's not a good look."

"Stop talking like that, you sound childish."

They had just arrived at a bar, the second they stepped in the scent of alcohol and sweat filled their nostrils, causing Aeri's nose to crinkle at the smell. As they walked through the throng of bodies, they finally reached the bar, sitting down on the stools.

"Welcome! do you know what you'd like, or would you want some suggestions?" The bartender asked, a notepad in hand and a pen in the other.

"Could I get a so-maek?" Aeri asked, glancing at you, quietly asking what you'd want.

"Just a soju for me." You said, smiling politely.

The bartender quickly jotted the drinks down, walking away.

As they waited for their drinks, they talked, talking about what they wanted to do after or how long they'd stay at the bar for.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom, I'll be right back." Aeri said, hopping off the stool and walking into the bathroom.

"Okay, love you!" You called out to her.

Once she was in the bathroom and used the toilet and whatnot, she fixed her hair and makeup, trying to make herself look as presentable as she did before they left. She put on a little more lipgloss, rubbing her lips together and applying some more mascara.

"Perfect." She murmured, smiling at her reflection before turning around to go back to you.

While she was walking, she stopped dead in her tracks, her jaw clenching at what she was seeing.

A man was talking to you, or trying to. You didn't seem interested at all, trying to get out of the conversation. "Let me buy you a drink, pretty lady." The guy said, causing Aeri's nose to crinkle in anger and disgust. How dare he call her girlfriend that? did he have any respect?

Before Aeri knew it, she marched over there, swiftly wrapping an arm around you just as their previously ordered drinks arrived. "She's fine." Aeri murmured, looking at the guy sideways, giving him a look that said fuck off.

The guy, seemingly took the hint and walked away, but not without glaring at Aeri.

Aeri sighed, grabbing her so-maek and putting the glass to her lips and taking a sip. "I didn't like the way he was looking at you." She murmured, knowing exactly what you were going to ask before you opened your mouth.

"I was trying to handle it." You replied, a slight frown on your lips as you took a sip from your soju, feeling the liquid burn down your throat. "You don't need to do that all the time, I can handle myself." You continued, looking like you were trying to choose your words carefully. "I don't need you to be so.. overprotective."

Aeri stopped mid-sip, glancing at you. She internally scoffed. Is she serious right now? "I'm not overprotective. I just don't like it when people talk to you." She stated simply, like it was normal to think that way.

"But you always do it. Whenever I'm talking to my friends or even hugging them you don't like it. I know you're trying to be a good girlfriend, and you are.. but I feel like I'm suffocating sometimes because you're always by my side and giving people looks so they'll back off." You responded, looking Aeri in the eyes, hoping she'd realize what she was doing and how controlling she could be.

But Aeri was persistent, her determination never wavering as she tried to prove she was in the right. "But they're not good for you! they're always making you do stuff.. and guys are always hitting on you! that's why I tell you to stop dressing like that!" Aeri countered, the look in her eyes turning into a slight glare.

"That's what I'm talking about, Aeri. You're controlling who I talk to, what I wear, even how I talk! no matter what happens my clothes are always to blame when I get hit on! I'm not even wearing anything revealing tonight." You scoffed, finishing the rest of your drink. "I'm leaving. I'll see you tomorrow." You said, your words final.

Aeri was left in shock and anger, watching as you turned your back and walked towards the exit, her fingers gripping the glass of her drink, fighting the urge not to throw it at the wall.
