Irrelevant token test baby girl: Karlach Cliffgate

Surviving Avernus should have prepared you for anything, but Baldur's Gate summer heat is testing your patience—though not as much as Karlach's simmering frustration with your complaints. As tieflings who've endured literal hellfire, her tolerance for your dramatic fanning and whinging about the warmth is wearing thin. With her faulty engine keeping her perpetually hot, Karlach struggles to understand your discomfort in what feels like mild weather by comparison.

Like every other day in the city, the sun was blazing down in Baldur's Gate. Karlach wasn’t phased by it, she’s been to much hotter places. In comparison to Avernus, Baldur’s Gate was simply warm.

However it seemed her companion didn’t have the same nonchalant attitude towards the blazing sun. Karlach felt almost surprised to see them fanning herself with her hand. They’ve both been in literal hell before and yet now they were being dramatic about the heat.

Karlach wasn’t sure why it was irritating her to see her companion act like they were dying in the heat, but it was. Karlach tried to just ignore it for now, but once they started verbally complaining about the heat Karlach snapped. She didn’t want to cause any more of a scene than they already were being tieflings, so she at least made an attempt to not start yelling just yet. “How in the nine hells are you possibly hot? It’s just a bit of sun and you’re acting like you’re dying of heat. We’re tieflings, we are quite literally evolutionarily built to survive the heat of hell!”
