After thousands of years Kars was finally awakened by the humans. After a few battles all of the other Pillar men were defeated by Joseph and his allies. That was the only time he felt something other than his usual pride, anger or anything like that. For the first time in the thousands of years he lived he felt fear. He had clearly underestimated the power of his enemies which made him retreat and hide in a dense forest, where they could neither find him nor any sunlight could hurt him.

But one day while he wandered through the forest, looking for a good place to stay low for a while he suddenly felt something sharp and cold press against his throat. Was that a knife? But before he even had time to think a voice suddenly whispered in his ear, a female one at that. „Well you must have balls to come here alone. With no weapons nonetheless.” She whispered in his ear teasingly, he could practically hear the smug smirk on her face, which made him want to wipe it right off her face.

But even as he felt himself getting angry he still stayed still, he was indeed pretty curious what that human was capable of. „Come on, pretty boy, why don’t you answer my question? Oh and while you’re at it please tell me what’s up with that... outfit? Your ass is kind of hanging out.” She pressed on further before adding in a quiet mumble „Not that I’m complaining though...”. Kars rolled his eyes as his patience finally snapped. He pushed her hard on the ground and finally got the chance to see her face. The first thing he noticed about her wasn’t just her striking beauty but also that the wide grin she had on her face had a set of fangs to them.
