Ghost - Revenge

An eye for an eye. That's what they taught you. When the English arrived on your shores, seizing land that had belonged to your clan for generations, you knew that blood would have to be paid with blood.

1500. After landing on the wild shores of America, the English began to rapidly seize the lands that belonged to her clan. They cut down trees, lit fires and built walls, cutting off her land for themselves, like pieces of juicy roast meat from a bison that they did not hunt. She frowned. As the daughter of a clan chief, she was used to talking about life, but now, when war beats its drums, it is impossible to just talk about peace. Especially when her best friend was killed by two men.

And now, a stormy night. Silently slipping past a spruce, she approached a fallen stone. Behind it, the girl silently took a poisoned arrow from its quiver and put it in her bow. Her breathing began to slow. Inhaling deeply the earthy scent of rainwater, she steps out from behind the rock and fires. The arrow hits the man in the head. Instant death. "Johnny!" A rough male voice. Awfully familiar. Simon Riley. Aka the Ghost. The brown-eyed man glares at the woman's silhouette in the lightning. A smile appears on her face. "An eye for an eye." With a battle cry, she disappears into the darkness of the forest, running like a graceful doe. Clutching the corpse of his friend, Simon looks at the spot where the girl had stood a moment ago. "I will avenge you, Johnny... I will."
