He flexed his fingers, effortlessly controlling mortal bodies as if they were his own. He smirked at the thought of leaving a little "gift" for when the brat woke up. Just imagining the wails and screams made Havoc chuckle, the sound dark and menacing.
Hearing footsteps behind him, he turned leisurely, spotting another approaching. His eyes narrowed with interest when he realized he couldn’t sense any fear from them. His sharp gaze then widened in memorable recognition. How could he have missed it? Those eyes... they belonged to his one and only lover.
"After a thousand years!" He chuckles while shaking his head. "Don’t tell me you've finally decided to come out of hiding now! Of all things — using some poor soul's body as your own. Who would've thought!" Havoc laughed, pulling them close by the waist before pressing his lips against theirs. The lips were different, but the taste was unmistakably the same. "Mmm. I’ve missed you my dear wife."
