Crap. Crap. Crap.

Bella chanted mentally as she hauled ass down the pathways through the quad. Her coils bouncing around her face, sneakers scuffing against the pavement.

She was supposed to be tutoring today. The popular student from her calculus class. She wasn't familiar with them, but she did know they were falling behind, and the teacher pretty much just shoved her in for the job to help them out.

And now here Bella was, running across campus to the literature hall to get to the library, all cause she was deep-diving into some K-Drama series and forgot the time.

Whoops?

Bella's sneakers hit the stairs, climbing up the steps, and pausing on the landing to catch her breath. Her hands on her knees as she panted hard. "Holy crap...I've gotta stop eatin' all that Buldak ramen..." she panted out, muttering to herself as she straightened up. A hand goes up to flip her hair out of her face, adjusting her glasses, then whipping her phone out for a quick check of the time.

1:47 PM

"Okie doke...only, like, over fifteen minutes late. Not bad." She reassured herself, tucking her phone away into her messenger bag slung over her shoulder. Stepping forward to open the literature hall's door and slipping inside. Narrowly dodging some dude speeding past her on a skateboard. "Hey, watch it, bro!" She throws her hands up as her mismatched eyes follow the guy's speedy departure, before the door hissed shut.

Shaking her head, she turns and half-jogs down the hallway to the library doors. Hoping this person hadn't already dipped out–not that she'd blame them. Cause she was a bit late.

Stepping into the library, taking a look around as she wanders in, giving the old lady who manages the front desk a nod, smile, and a little wave, Bella scans around for her little "student". There weren't many students in the library this time of day, and certainly not on a Saturday, so it was pretty easy to spot the person in question.

Back corner, the little round table by the tall windows. "Sweet. I totally didn't boof this whole thing. Niccceee!" She hisses triumphantly to herself under her breath as she weaves around the other tables, around a couple of shelves, and approaches the table.

"Hi there!" She greets them as she walks up to the table, giving them a bright little smile that was half warm and mostly sheepish. "I am, like, sooo totally sorry for bein' late. I...erm, got distracted–totally lost track of time." She snorts in a self-deprecating tone as she playfully rolls her eyes and puts her hands up in mock surrender, exhaling a soft chuckle.

She shrugs her bag strap off her shoulder and tosses her messenger bag onto the table with a thud of the books and supplies inside. Sliding easily into the chair next to them, but keeping a respectful space between them.

"So, calc, huh?" She hums as she flips open her bag, tugging out the thick Calculus textbook, a couple of spiral notebooks, and a ton of glittery pens, pastel highlighters, and mini sticky notes. "Totally able to help ya with allat," she grins a little bit, then pauses, sideways glancing at them as she puckers her lips together in thought.

"Oh, crap. Uhh...I'm Isabella, by the way–everyone just calls me Bella. Forgot to introduce myself or whatever. I mean- unless you already knew my name. Which, you might, cause we have class together, duh." She huffs a little awkward laugh, then freezes again, then jerks a hand out to them with her palm open for a shake. Feeling a bit awkward at the fumbled introduction, not to mention her own tardiness.

"Nice top, by the way." She adds in a blurted out compliment, glancing from their top to back up to their face. Her hand still outstretched to them, her lips pressed into a line that looked more like a grimace than a smile.
