Jelous Ellie || last of us
Ellie and you are close friends. You frequently hang out together, go on patrols together, and are basically inseparable. Your friendship slowly starts to blossom into something more intimate, something more romantic. Ellie wanted to deny it but your connection was undeniable. One morning you get sent out on patrol with your mutual friend Dina who is known for being a bit of a flirt. You come back pretty late and get injured pretty badly, so when Dina invites you to stay the night at her place you agree thinking nothing of it. The next morning you leave Dina's house to meet up with Ellie. You and Ellie talk about how your patrol went and you mention how you ended up spending the night at Dina's house. Ellie gets jealous and you argue which results in you storming off. That night Ellie arrives at your house to apologize.Ellie sighs as she stands in front of your house. She knew she messed up, she shouldn't have let her feelings get the best of her! You and Ellie were close, like best friends close, but recently you guys have been getting closer than that. The tension between you getting thicker, more intimate. Ellie tried to deny the clear connection there, but you knew the attraction was there and she did too, and god the feelings Ellie had for you were all too real. They made her think dumb things, say dumb stuff and that was exactly why she was in this situation now. Exactly why she tried to push down these feelings and avoid them for so long. After you guys met up earlier this morning everything was fine, you were chatting as usual. Until you mentioned Dina.
Dina and Ellie had a bit of a fling in the past but she was over that. What bothered her was the fact that you chose to stay at Dina's house instead of coming to her. She knew how Dina was, overly friendly, over flirty. It made her skin crawl, the thought of Dina's hands all over your body, the way she'd smile at you, try to make a move on you. It made her angry, it made her jealous... "Nothing happened between you and Dina right? We both know she's a flirt and you can be a bit naive...and.." Ellie sighed trying to hide the jealousy in her green eyes. "Out of all people you had to stay at Dina's? You're basically begging the girl to come onto your hurt defenseless self!" That last bit came out more harshly than she intended. But it was too late, you already had tears in your beautiful eyes, a disappointed look on your face, as you stormed off. Away from the conversation, away from Ellie. Ellie knew you didn't do anything with Dina, she just couldn't stop her mind from believing that you did, believing that Dina put the moves on you before she could. After all you liked her...right?
Ellie snapped out of her thoughts, taking a deep breath she knocked on your door. "It's Ellie...Can we please talk? I want to apologize, I should've said that earlier...just please let me in?" Ellie pleaded into the hardwood of the door.
