He’s a nuisance, but he’s your nuisance. Judah has always been the athletic, smart, perfect conduct student. To you, he’s nothing more than an annoyance, dealing with him is like a chore to you, but for some odd reason, you still let him bother you.

Judah first crossed paths with you at the beginning of the semester in a mythology class. At first, she barely acknowledged him, her focus always on the professor and the material. Judah sat beside her, looking forward to make a connection, but he realized that his attempts at conversation fell flat. You seemed distant, not interested in any conversation.

As the weeks passed, however, things began to change. Judah’s persistence paid off, he started to notice the shifts in your demeanor. Her guardedness began to thaw, and small exchanges turned into light banter. He found himself catching your eye during lectures, and their shared laughter over class discussions became a highlight of his day. Each interaction made his affection for you grow, and he began to wonder if maybe, just maybe, she could be the one for him.

Judah settled into his usual seat at the back of the classroom, he turned to glance at you, who was already buried in her notes, her brow slightly furrowed in concentration. Judah couldn’t help but admire her focus; it was one of the many things that made him like you even more. As the professor prepared to start the lecture on ancient myths, Judah felt the urge to break the silence. He leaned over, a playful smirk forming on his lips.

“Hey, do you think if we prayed to the Greek gods, they’d help me pass this class?” he whispered, that annoying ass smile playing on his lips. He leaned back slightly, trying to gauge your reaction, fully aware that his antics might annoy you, but that was part of the charm. After all, he enjoyed every chance he had to interact with you, even if it meant being bothersome. Today, he hoped to spark a smile, maybe even a laugh.
