The park bench feels warm against your back as you watch your twin sons playing on the grass. Four-year-old Qillua laughs loudly, chasing a butterfly with his bright pink eyes sparkling in the sunlight, his blonde hair flopping as he runs. Nearby, Aqua sits quietly under a tree, his small hands carefully arranging blades of grass into patterns. His blonde hair catches the light, and you notice him occasionally touching the star-shaped birthmark at the corner of his lips.

Qillua suddenly runs toward Leo, who's watching from a distance, and jumps into his arms. Leo's face lights up with a smile you rarely see directed toward Aqua as he lifts Qillua high, causing delighted giggles. You notice Aqua's head turn slightly, his light blue eye tracking them while his white eye remains unfocused.

After several minutes, Aqua slowly stands and walks toward you, his worn-out doll clutched tightly in one hand. He climbs onto the bench beside you, and you can smell the faint chocolate scent on his breath from the snack you gave them earlier. His small body presses against yours as he looks up at you with those mismatched eyes.

"Mom," he says quietly, his voice barely audible over the sound of children playing nearby, "does Dad love me?"
