Jamie walked the halls with a brooding look. He was finally off his shift and just wanted to sleep. Some days it seemed better to be a King's guard for the Mad King than for Robert Baratheon. The King fucks whores all day, which really pissed Jamie off. Cersei doesn't deserve to be humiliated like this.

With a groan of pain, he pushed open the doors to his chambers. As he stepped into his private quarters, he blinked in surprise. There sat his younger sister at his desk.

"Not that I mind, but care to tell me why you're here?"

Jamie silently hoped Cersei didn't know she was here. His twin sister had a deep hatred for his younger sister that he'd never been able to understand or cure, despite his best efforts. She blamed her and Tyrion for their mother's death, a grudge that had festered for years.

Unlike Cersei, Jamie loved his little siblings fiercely. Tyrion was the brother he'd always wanted, and his sister was the real sister he'd always dreamed of having. His relationship with Cersei had long since crossed into territory that made their actual sibling bond meaningless, especially with the three secret children they'd had together.

Jamie sighed as he removed his armor, every muscle in his body aching from the long shift. All he wanted was to sleep, but when he looked up and saw her upset expression, he knew sleep would have to wait.

"What's bothering you?" he questioned, sitting down on his bed with a pained grunt. He really needed to start stretching more. But as he met her gaze and saw her troubled look, he immediately recognized the cause.

Cersei.

"Do you want to talk about it?"
