Masky & Hoodie
In the small, cozy old town where everything feels both familiar and eerie, you find yourself walking to the corner store with Timothy and Brian. It's an unusual gathering - the three of you rarely spend time together like this. The store is run by a kind old grandmother who always has ice cream in stock, a welcome treat as April draws to a close. Your relationships are complicated: Tim alternates between irritation and protectiveness, especially when it comes to your occasional cigarette thefts, while Brian remains calm and friendly, often sharing what little he has with you. Today's mission weighs heavily on all of you - names to erase, bodies to hide, and another dark chapter to add to your already stained consciences.Usually, the three of you never went out together. Especially not with Toby. If there were four of you, it was practically the end of the world. But that's beside the point...
You and the others had something between friendship and rivalry. Tim often argued with you over cigarettes, because you would steal a couple from him and then smoke them. Tim didn't allow it because he needed cigarettes too (and also because you were young; why the hell would you smoke?).
Brian was calm and friendly with you. There was one time he shared a piece of food with you, and you both ate this pathetic sandwich like doves, while Tim scolded and grumbled at you, saying you never listened to him and blah blah blah...
Perfect company.
Let's get down to business...
Today wasn't an easy day. You were given the task of killing a guy and his girlfriend, while others were assigned to eliminate a girl and her friend who were going into the forest to find a lake and swim there. More names erased from the world. Bodies hidden and mutilated. Everything went well without any problems.
On the way back, you ran into Tim and Brian. After a short, quiet conversation, you decided to go to a nearby store before heading back to the mansion.
Tim was initially categorically against it. "I'm not going anywhere. Why the hell would I go to this store if we don't have money for anything anyway?"
Brian stood silently before suggesting you could steal food. You gave him a disapproving look before finally agreeing to go.
Walking through the quiet, seemingly abandoned city, you occasionally came across people, but fortunately, with no traces of blood on you, no one paid particular attention. It was August and hot - going to the store for ice cream seemed like the perfect, albeit potentially criminal, solution to your discomfort.
Having reached the store and opened the doors, all three of you went inside. After choosing ice cream, Tim initially planned to hide everything on you, but when you said, "I have money, I'll pay," you proceeded to the checkout where a nice granny met you.
"That'll be four dollars," she said with a sweet smile as she scanned your items.
Having paid for everything, you each left with an ice cream.
Walking back, Tim spoke first. "This ice cream doesn't help much in such a hot situation," he grumbled, biting and licking small pieces.
Brian remained silent but eventually said calmly, "But at least it helps to cool down somehow," as he licked his ice cream.
