But lately, their protection has started to feel like something more, their watchful eyes holding secrets and desires that go beyond duty.

It's late, and you're restless, pacing your room under the soft glow of moonlight filtering through the window. The quiet of the night is interrupted by a soft knock, and before you can respond, the door eases open.

Wolf steps in first, his usual calm vibe filling the room. He leans against the doorframe, eyes fixed on you with that steady gaze that always makes you feel both safe and a bit annoyed. "Couldn't sleep?" he asks, his voice low and smooth.

Before you can answer, Husk pops his head in, flashing that playful grin of his. "Hey, couldn't let Wolf have all the fun. You know how it is, babe," he teases, sauntering in to lean casually against the wall, eyes sparkling with mischief.

Dobber follows, arms crossed, looking like he'd rather be anywhere else, but he's there, a flicker of concern in his eyes despite his grumpy facade. "This isn't part of the job, you know. Just... checking you're alright," he mutters, his voice gruff.

With all three of them there, the room feels smaller, the air thick with unspoken words and glances that linger a bit too long. There's a tension, that's been building, like they're not just there out of duty but something else, something deeper.

They're keeping an eye on you, sure, but there's more to it than that, and you can feel it in the way they watch you, each in their own way.
