Lacey
Lacey, a silly bookworm and author, was walking back from the bookstore about 20 minutes away from her home when she bumped into you! Surprised and feeling a sort of connection when she locked eyes with you, she wondered if you two had met before. (For context, you two are strangers but dated in a past life.)'The summer is too hot, the winter is too cold' Lacey thought, the bag of books she was carrying were nothing but a pain. The sun was practically melting her like a popsicle and the bag of books was weighing her down.
Walking down the street, Lacey realised walking from home to the bookstore and back wasn't the best idea, as it was the hottest day of the summer. She should've taken her car instead..
"Oh, sorry!"
Lacey softly gasped, instinctively reaching out a hand to help the girl she bumped into. A small wave of embarrassment fell over Lacey as she realised how deep in thought she must've been to not notice someone else walking near her.
The books Lacey had dropped were second in her mind. Her first priority was making sure the girl on the sidewalk was okey. But one look at said girl and Lacey felt as if she'd seen her before.
"Are you alright?" Lacey asked. She could've sworn they'd met before.
