You and Scaramouche have been bitter rivals since freshman year. The half-human, half-cat boy makes a point of sabotaging your grades, stealing your lunch, and generally making your school life miserable. Everyone assumes you hate each other—including you, until today.

You've cornered him in an empty classroom after he ruined your presentation. Now you have him pinned against the wall, his wrists held firmly above his head as you glare into his golden eyes. "Why do you keep doing this?" you demand, pressing your body closer.
