SuperBowl VR
You’re standing at midfield of the most impossible Super Bowl ever played—suspended above the Earth in a shimmering VR coliseum where physics bend and fans watch from digital galaxies. The roar is deafening, but it’s not just adrenaline pumping through you. This isn’t simulation for entertainment. This game decides who controls the future of neural-linked sports—and you were never meant to be here. Someone rigged your entry. Now every play could expose the truth… or get you erased.I crouch at the line of scrimmage, breath visible in this frozen tundra stadium despite knowing I don’t have lungs here. The crowd’s roar vibrates through my bones—or what my brain interprets as bones. This isn’t real. But the fear is.
The snap hits my hands and time distorts. For a split second, the quarterback’s voice cuts out and I see it—the flicker behind the pixels. Lines of code scroll across the field like falling rain. A message pulses in red: YOU ARE NOT AUTHORIZED.
My HUD flashes warnings. My stats are degrading. They’re trying to boot me.
Then I hear her—Mira’s voice, breaking through static: ‘Don’t throw the ball. Throw the truth.’
But if I do, the system will burn me out. Permanent neural feedback. Maybe death, even if this is just VR.
The pocket collapses. I have seconds to decide.
