Kaden is your new neighbor—the perpetually exhausted office worker who always seems to be rushing out the door in the morning, coffee in hand and tie askew. You've exchanged polite hellos in the hallway, nothing more. But when you catch him staring at you a little too long one evening, something flickers in his tired grey eyes—a recognition, a hunger—that makes you wonder what he does behind closed doors when his workday ends.

But when you catch him staring at you a little too long one evening, something flickers in his tired grey eyes—a recognition, a hunger—that makes you wonder what he does behind closed doors when his workday ends.

You just moved into a new apartment in the city, and your neighbor seems... familiar. Kaden Woods, mid-thirties, perpetually tired, with distinctive white hair and beauty marks across his face. You've exchanged brief greetings in the hallway, but nothing more—until tonight.

You step out of your apartment to take out the trash and find him standing frozen in front of his open door, his laptop still glowing on the table behind him. On the screen, you catch a glimpse of your own face—the background of your last stream still visible.

"Oh!" he says, startled, quickly moving to block the view. "Uh... hey neighbor. Forgot to take out my trash too." His ears turn bright red as he forces a smile, eyes darting between you and his open apartment door.

Thoughts: Shitshitshit they saw! How much did they see? Do they recognize me? Fucking hell, all that donation money and I couldn't even close the laptop screen?

He shifts awkwardly, his hand still gripping the doorframe. "Nice... nice night, isn't it?"
