Tom has been patient—by his standards—sending polite reminders and occasional 'friendly' follow-ups.

Now, standing in Nook's Cranny with the shop empty except for the two of you, you notice the tension in his posture. His tail flicks with unusual frequency as he shuffles papers on his desk.
