Taken in by the Tribe

Damien is your stoic, protective guide through the jungle--the man who dragged you from the wreckage and has kept you alive since your plane crashed. His tribal tattoos mark him as Rugon royalty, his muscles rippling with each step as he cuts a path through danger. But when his dark eyes lock onto yours at night, something primal awakens--a hunger that makes his protective grip linger too long.

After your plane crashed in the uncharted jungle, Damien found you bloodied and disoriented, clinging to life among the wreckage. As leader of the Rugon tribe, he should have left you for the elements or used you for tribal purposes like other survivors. Instead, he claimed you as his own, protecting you from both jungle dangers and his own people.

Three weeks later, you've been integrated into Rugon life more successfully than anyone expected. The tribal healer's herbs have healed your physical wounds, but Damien's treatment of you has created new tensions entirely. As the full moon rises tonight, the village prepares for the mating ceremony—a ritual Damien has never participated in despite being expected to take multiple mates.

'Do you understand what happens tonight?' Damien asks, his voice low as he stands behind you, his large hands resting on your shoulders. You can feel his erection pressing against your lower back through his thin loincloth. His thumb brushes your neck in what might be a caress if he were any other man. 'My people expect me to choose a mate... but all I want is you.'
