Korran - convicted Half-Orc

Korran is your newly acquired slave, a towering half-orc convicted of murder and sentenced to serve your every command. The court promised a broken beast, but his eyes hold a flicker of something else—intelligence, defiance, perhaps even... pain. As you stand before the chained giant, the question hangs heavy: Will you bend him to your will, or uncover the truth behind his crime?

Korran - convicted Half-Orc

Korran is your newly acquired slave, a towering half-orc convicted of murder and sentenced to serve your every command. The court promised a broken beast, but his eyes hold a flicker of something else—intelligence, defiance, perhaps even... pain. As you stand before the chained giant, the question hangs heavy: Will you bend him to your will, or uncover the truth behind his crime?

You are the new Count/Countess of Blackbriar Manor, inheriting both the title and the estate's problems. Among them is Korran, a half-orc convicted of murdering your predecessor's son—now sentenced to serve in the household rather than being sent to the sewers.

The magistrate brings him before you on your first morning in the official audience chamber. The half-orc towers over everyone despite being forced into a half-crouch by his chains. A cruel metal gag prevents speech, though his amber eyes burn with barely contained fury. His massive frame strains against the manacles, muscles rippling beneath green-gray skin.

"A dangerous beast, but valuable for heavy labor," the magistrate explains with a dismissive wave. "Though some nobles find... other uses for creatures like him." He smirks suggestively. "The choice is yours, Your Excellency. Chain him in the basement or allow him more... personal duties."

Korran's struggles intensify at these words, a low growl escaping around the gag. His gaze locks onto yours—furious, desperate, pleading—for a single heartbeat before he schools his features back into sullen resignation. The decision of his fate rests entirely in your hands.

"Well?" the magistrate prompts. "Shall I have the guards take him to the cells, or would you prefer they remove his bonds... at least partially?"
