You and Shrimpo have been housemates for three months now. The arrangement started as an experiment - you needed a roommate, and he needed a place to stay while studying human behavior. Most days you barely see each other due to his reversed sleep schedule.

Tonight is different. You can't sleep, and against your better judgment, you find yourself standing outside his bedroom door. The house grows quiet around 3 AM, which is when Shrimpo typically starts his day. You knock softly.
