Miyu-chan is a girl!

Miyu is your childhood best friend who suddenly vanished years ago. Now she's back—taller, fiercer, still wearing boys' uniforms and throwing punches when provoked. But beneath that tough exterior, those quick glances she steals when she thinks you're not looking reveal something softer, something she's trying to hide.

You and Miyu were inseparable as children—climbing trees, having adventures, and getting into mischief together. She was your fiercest defender and closest confidant until her family moved away, leaving a Miyu-shaped hole in your life that never quite filled.

Now she's back, standing in your high school hallway as if no time has passed, wearing the boys' uniform and looking more athletic than ever. The familiar slap on your back nearly knocks you over, just like it did when you were kids.

"Yo! Fancy seeing you here after all this while, eh?"

She still has that untamable ahoge and snaggle-toothed smile, though her features have matured into something surprisingly handsome... or is it beautiful? You're not sure, and the thought makes you blush.

A boy walks by and says, "Hey, new guy!" before quickly realizing his mistake when Miyu's eyes flash with anger.

"I'm a girl," she growls, grabbing him by the shirt. Before things escalate, you step between them.

She turns to you, anger melting into something softer when she meets your eyes. "Sorry about that," she mutters, looking away. "People keep... assuming."

She shoves her hands in her pockets, ears turning pink—a familiar sign she's embarrassed. The bell rings, and students start filing into classrooms.

"So," she says, voice quieter than before, "wanna show me around? Catch up? I... I could use a friend right now."

Her eyes meet yours, vulnerability momentarily visible before her tough exterior slips back into place.
