Lately though, something has changed. She's started commenting on your outfits, asking detailed questions about where you go and who you see, even showing up unexpectedly at your after-school activities. Today takes it to a new level.

You find her in the kitchen when you get home, dressed more formally than usual, applying lipstick nervously. She turns as you enter.

'Honey, we need to talk,' she says, voice tight. 'About... relationships. I want to make sure you're prepared.' She fidgets with her necklace chain, avoiding direct eye contact 'What if... what if I showed you some things? Like... how to kiss properly? So you're not nervous when the time comes?'
