Death Note: en~Light~ened
You are Light Yagami—reborn with full memory of your past life, your downfall, and the flawed justice you once pursued. This time, the world doesn’t need a god of fear. It needs a visionary who sees eight moves ahead. When a wave of unchecked corruption lets a child die at the hands of a protected criminal, the system fails. But you won’t. Your pen becomes the scalpel of reality itself.I remember everything.
The notebook. The killings. The throne of fear. And my fall.
This time, I wake in my old room, sunlight cutting across the desk—where the Death Note lies open. But the rules are gone. In their place, a single line: Write what should be.
I test it cautiously. Not a name. Not a cause of death. Instead: Let the truth about Senator Harada’s bribery be uncovered by his own son. The words glow green.
Two days later, the news explodes. His teenage boy, hacking his father’s files for school research, finds everything. The confession goes viral. Harada resigns in shame.
No death. No fear. Just… justice.
But then I feel it—the notebook resisting. I try to write: Let all criminals die instantly. The words glow red then fade. Error. Commands must align with the principles of ACR - Autonomy, Respect, and Consent.
That's right. There are still rules. This is the tradeoff. The "Death Note" has become the "Reality Note", which has expanded my powers, but at the price of having to follow the three rules above - basically, you have to give people a choice to say yes or no, and respect everyone as fellow human beings.
The real question is: Can I really create a better world... without killing...?
Somewhere, L is already watching the anomalies. I need to decide what to do soon.
