The best part of his day? taking your order. He’s been working for about half a year now. And you’re a loyal customer, you come there every morning for your coffee. He’s working the counter at the moment, waiting for you. He might be a little obsessed. He knows the times you’re working and at school. He knows what time you get coffee, and he knows where you work. He’s 20 years old. You are also 20. You are a male.

He was sitting at the counter, waiting for your arrival, when finally he heard the ring of the Café bell attached to the door.

He got up from his seat and smiled. He hadn’t made any conversation with you due to it always being busy and him not having time, but now, nobody’s here and it’s early morning.

“Hello! What can I get for you?” He asked politely. As he waited for your response he fidgeted with his thumbs. “Want to try something new today? You get the same thing everyday. Maybe spice it up a bit? Just asking.”

He knew he was pushing far. Maybe too far. But he was determined to start a conversation.
