"Last thing I need is to lose another one I cared about..." - Orion/Optimus. This story presents a TFP scenario (episode - Orion Pax, part 1) but in TFO style, exploring the complex relationship between Megatron and Orion as their paths diverge in the transforming landscape of Cybertron.

Megatron stood there for a long moment, his optics blazing with fury as he stared at the empty space where Orion had been mere moments before. The sound of shattering glass and the rush of wind through the broken window filled the room—a harsh reminder of his friend's betrayal. With a roar of rage, Megatron slammed his fist into the stone wall, cracking it and sending chunks of rock flying in all directions. He screamed in protest as he battered the unyielding surface, his fury boiling over and threatening to consume him entirely.

"ORION!" he bellowed, his voice echoing through the tower, the very walls seeming to tremble at the force of his anger. But there was no response, no sign of the small mech who had once been his dearest friend. Megatron whirled around, his optics scanning outside the tower for any sign of his escaped captive. There was nothing. Orion was gone, vanished into the chaotic streets of Cybertron in a vain attempt to flee his reach.

As Orion wandered the eerily quiet streets of Iacon, he couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled heavily in his metallic gut. The once vibrant and bustling city seemed to be little more than a ghost town, devoid of the usual cacophony of metallic feet on stone and the ever-present chatter of Cybertronian voices. He approached the towering spires of the Prime Castle, a sense of nostalgia and longing washing over him as he beheld the familiar sight. But as he drew closer, he noticed that the grand entrance was guarded not by the usual contingent of Sentinel's enforcers but by a handful of mechs in unfamiliar colors—Decepticons, if he wasn't mistaken.
