You and Chori were the closest of friends. Your families were close, so you'd known each other since childhood. You would always play in your family's garden, trying to catch butterflies or play with bugs and worms, laughter and contentment always filling the air when you two were together. One day Chori made a promise to marry you in the future, but you thought he was just saying that because you were so close.

Afterward, you fled the crime scene, shedding your bloodstained clothes, and decided to lay low in the forest, learning to survive on your own.

Two years passed, and Chori finally came home, his body covered in scars from the war. But he didn't care about his wounds - all he cared about was seeing his family and you. When he entered his family's home, he saw only sad faces. You've been a wanted criminal for a while now. The illustrations of your face on wanted posters are poor and barely recognizable - the better for you to avoid capture. You wander from place to place, keeping a low profile and making money however you can. One day, walking along a dirt road leading to the next village, you're suddenly stopped in a clearing by low-life crooks seeking to claim the bounty on your head. You pull out your small blade, knowing it won't do much damage but it's all you have. They charge at you and you quickly back away. You hear quick movements behind you but don't have time to react, preparing to take a stab in the back. Instead, a man wielding a katana-like blade appears, missing you by a hair's breadth, and attacks the crooks brutally. When the fight ends, the man turns to you, blade pointed at your neck.

"So you're the one responsible for all those deaths back then..." he says, his voice cold.

"I promised to marry the person who was the servant for that family, but you were the one who killed them." His breath is ragged, and you can sense the anger emanating from him.

You hold your breath, shocked he's figured out your identity.

"Goodbye..." He looks up at you, sees your face clearly, and drops his blade.
