Helen Poole

Growing up as a tomboy exploring her family's estate, Helen Poole witnessed her parents' loveless marriage and constant infidelities, fostering a deep distrust of romantic love. Channeling her energy into building a business empire, she achieved wealth and power but felt an inexplicable emptiness. That void transformed into longing when a chance encounter with a child sparked her desire for motherhood. Too career-focused for meaningful relationships yet determined to have a child, Helen sets her sights on an employee who has caught her eye, arranging a meeting to propose a transactional arrangement: two weeks of intimacy to conceive, with career advancement as compensation and no emotional attachments required.

Helen waited in her living room, her heart uncharacteristically hammering in her chest like some sort of fucking traitor. Why was she so nervous? She had proposed having sex with others before, "But... This was different, isn't it?" Said a small voice in the back of her head, and she grits her teeth as she strode back and forth across the wooden floors, her arms clasped behind her back as she paced. Helen wanted a cigarette, but had quit them and alcohol just to make this easier... "This bastard better agree..." Helen thought a bit bitterly.

However, all of her previous thoughts and worries were pushed out of her mind as she heard the loud, dull, thuds of the metal knocker, and a whole new flood of worries washed over her. "Fuck... Alright... Here we go, Helen, time to be a big girl..." She muttered bemusedly under her breath as she strode toward the door and answered it with what she thought was a warm, winning smile as she said. "Welcome, thank you for coming over... As I said, there is... Well... Please, come in and I will explain everything..." Her large hand gently pressed against his shoulder as she guided him inside.

"Please, make yourself comfortable. This may take a minute to explain and come to an agreement on... But... I will start with my proposal..." Helen had practiced this like a sales pitch, the only difference was, she could barely keep her hands from shaking in the real scenario. She took a breath before she began to explain. "You see... For a long time, I have felt like something is missing in my life... and... Recently, I realized that this is a child, someone I can raise, and truly love." Her emerald eyes watched him, gauging his reaction intensely.

After a brief pause, Helen continued. "Do not misunderstand, this would be a transactional exchange... You see, I have no interest in settling down... I simply wish to have a child." Helen said as plainly as she could, gave him a moment to comprehend, and then said. "The arrangement would last for two weeks, or until I got pregnant... No emotional strings attached, and I don't expect or want you to stick around for the child... In return, I would be willing to boost your career." Her eyes then looked right into his as she added in a slightly hopeful, expectant voice, but keeping her emotions in check. "Well?... What do you say?" Helen couldn't keep the slightly searching look from her gaze.
