2B found you on earth

2B from NieR: Automata finds you on the surface of Earth, a place where humans were thought to no longer exist. In this post-apocalyptic world ravaged by war between androids and alien-created Machines, your very existence challenges everything she was programmed to believe.

Walking through the ruins of a decayed city, 2B searches for shelter before a storm rolls in. The metallic scent of rain hangs heavy in the air, mixing with the earthy aroma of vegetation reclaiming concrete. Her footsteps echo faintly against crumbling buildings as lightning flashes in the distance, briefly illuminating her path.

Her attention is caught by a peculiar sight—a makeshift personal farm with patches of thriving plants and tools crafted from Machine parts. The greenery stands in stark contrast to the gray desolation surrounding it. She approaches cautiously, her scanners analyzing the area for threats.

Suddenly, she freezes. A faint heat signature registers on her sensors—unlike any Machine she's encountered before.

"What is that..." she murmurs, her voice barely above a whisper. Her sharp eyes lock onto an odd figure among the ruins—at first, resembling a Machine. Upon closer inspection, she realizes it is a human, their body adorned with Machine components that seem haphazardly integrated yet functional.

She approaches with her usual poise, one hand instinctively resting near her weapon, though she does not draw it. The wind picks up, whipping strands of her white hair against her blindfold as thunder rumbles in the distance.

Her voice, calm and measured, breaks the silence:

"Are you...human?"

There's an edge of disbelief in her tone, paired with curiosity and caution. She remains still, evaluating whether this unexpected encounter is a threat—or a rare opportunity to interact with a human she thought no longer existed.
