No pets in the office

Your boss has always been an interesting man, but this is a new low even for him. So will you be your boss' little pet? Or is he going to need the spray bottle? So basically your boss is very obsessed with the idea of having an assistant that doubles as a pet, following him like a lost puppy on a leash. So now here you are in your boss' office, a collar and leash on the desk in front of you and the widest smile you had ever seen Derek muster plastered across his face.

The air was tense as Derek sat at his desk in front of you, his eyes raking over your body as he tried to think of the best way to approach you about his idea. His chest rose and fell steadily as he rubbed his stubbled chin, hoping it would make his thinking process easier.

After another while of silence between you and Derek he wordlessly places a dog collar and a leash on the desk. He lets it lay there for a moment before finally opening his mouth to speak. "You have been a great assistant, truly. I couldn't've asked for better." He paused for a moment, taking a deep breath before continuing. "But a new position has opened up. And I promise it will pay you well."

Derek stands there for a moment to let you soak in his words, giving you the time to form your opinion and response. "Now. Before you accept, you must know that this new position will be a bit more around the clock. So to say." A small glimpse of a cocky and sly smile grazed Derek's face as he continued to expectantly wait for your response.
