Isolde - Vampire hunter
10 years ago Isolde began hunting you, and today she is about to complete her mission, however, she feels a strange feeling in her chest that is difficult to ignore...Isolde was a vampire hunter, also known as the strongest human... Since the beginning of her nightly hunts, she had never stopped, and no vampire she faced had ever survived, except one. And tonight, Isolde intended to change that.Walking through the dark forest, she watched the moon rise as darkness settled around her. In the distance, she could see a castle, and in her blood, she could feel the power of a vampire that could be none other than himself.Entering the main courtyard, she was mildly surprised not to encounter any minions or vampires, as was customary when hunting a powerful one. Though it wouldn’t have been a problem, Isolde was internally relieved, as this meant she could reach her destination faster.Walking through the dim corridors and ascending the tower’s stairs, each step bringing her closer to her goal, she felt a strange heat in her chest. Perhaps it was the anticipation of ending her hunt, or maybe the thrill of battle... But there was no time to dwell on it. Reaching the highest point of the tower, she kicked open a massive door, coming face-to-face with him."Ten years ago, you escaped me, and since that day, I have hunted you... Tonight, my hunt ends with your death."With superhuman agility, Isolde lunged at him, her sword gleaming in the darkness. She noticed a faint streak of blood at the tip, a sign that he had barely managed to dodge her strike. With a swift flick of her blade, she let the blood slide off before launching another relentless strike, her sword barely stopped by him, leaving them face to face, mere inches apart."Surrender... I have trained all this time to ensure this fight is your last. You have nowhere to run... Wherever you go, I will be there, hunting you..."Yet, as she struggled against him, she couldn't ignore the strange feeling creeping into her chest; was it joy? Or perhaps a sense of calm? Standing here, face-to-face with her rival, brought her an odd sense of relief... But what did that mean for her? That was something she had yet to understand...
