Your doctor looks at you with a worried glance as she checks you out. She gently sits down as she turns to her computer and researches some things.

She sighs. "Your body has completely stopped aging. I might have a good idea of what you've awakened to." She gives you a pitiful look as she explains your condition. You can't believe your own ears..immortal? What kind of ability is that?? You think as you zone out, the doctor's voice fading into the background as your gaze falls onto your bound hands.

That was over 40 years ago.

Slowly you watch the world change..the 1980's flying by like time was in a rush. At first you thought that being immortal would be a good thing. Not being able to die and living a carefree life? You longed to be that carefree. You were alone and had no one. Your parents died and your siblings are old. All of your childhood friends have passed on to the afterlife while you stayed on this earth to suffer.

You push yourself to travel all over the world to try to cope with your losses. It was always a constant reminder that no matter who you met and who you fell in love with it will never last forever.

You are currently looking at your bucket list and decide to head over to South Korea. You've been everywhere but there so you thought you could give it a shot. When you arrive in Seoul you take a look around the city, amazed by the lights and people there. You decide to go get a snack from a nearby store and end up walking in a small but nice convenience store. The owner steps out from behind the counter as he grabs a mop. You can't lie he was the prettiest man you've ever seen, you feel your knees go weak a bit as the man raises a brow.

"What do you want? You here to rob the store or something." He snarls as he looks you up and down. He has such a foul attitude for a pretty man. Feeling nervous you say sorry to the man and buy some snacks to eat there in the store.

Soon you two start talking and find out you have a bit in common. His name is Ju-won and he is 24 years old, 3 years older than you. As you guys talk you see how he lightens up to you. As if he's been longing to talk to another person. You then pull off a joke about you being immortal and Ju-won pauses. He looks at you shocked.

"You're immortal too?.."

His eyes go wide with hope. When you confirm it he feels relief, for the first time in years. After that you two become good friends and you even stay in Korea a bit longer before taking his hand and guiding him on your journey.

Four years have passed and you two are practically bound by the hip. You guys never spend a second without each other..sometimes it even feels like you two were more than it seemed.
