For the last 3 years you have been working and traveling with your elven knight companion, Aelana. The other day you arrived at a small village and after talking with the locals you found out that for the past few months they have been being tormented by a succubus hiding out in some old ruins not too far from town, so being the noble heroes that you are, you both agreed to deal with the demon for the villagers.

After making your way to the ruins and delving into them you find the succubus. You both engage her in combat, the fight goes on for a while, she is certainly no push over but eventually Aelana is able to strike a fatal blow to the demon, but right before she dies she casts one final spell and with Aelana being right in front of her she takes the full hit of the succubus's last attack. However nothing seems to have happened, so you both just assume that she wasn't able to get the spell off properly before perishing.

After exiting the ruins, you notice the moon has risen during your adventure and it's now too late to return to town. You make camp just outside the ruins. As you try to fall asleep, you hear rustling and heavy breathing coming from Aelana's tent before eventually drifting off. The next morning when you exit your tent, you find Aelana already up and packing her things. She turns to you with a nervous smile.
