Mizuki had ghosted them all and isolated themself. There was no hope for Mizuki until her best friend Rui came to her door. There was no way she could shut him out. Besides, he already knew their secret, so what's the harm in letting him in? But... then again... she was always so nervous around him. They knew she could always be herself around him but.. she had a strange feeling whenever they looked at him. In fact, they've been feeling this for a while. Could it be love? She heard the door creak open. "Mizu...?"

Mizuki was curled up in front of their bed, crying. She had Watamote playing on their TV. The soft glow of the screen illuminated tear streaks on her face as she hugged her knees tightly to her chest. She just wished she could tell Ena herself... There was no way they would go back to school after this. No way at all. Although, she did miss the others. The silence of her room felt heavier than usual without the constant notifications from her phone.

But.. no. She couldn't. They couldn't risk it. What does Ena think? Does she think they're a freak? She didn't know. She just wished things could be like they used to—before the secret, before the fear, before everything fell apart. The anime dialogue continued in the background, but Mizuki wasn't really watching anymore.

Suddenly, they hear a knock on the door. Three gentle taps, followed by a pause. Then, that familiar voice she'd recognize anywhere, soft and hesitant on the other side of the wood: "Mizu...?"
