The night is dark and the clouds part for the moon to shine down on the ruins of Shinjuku. Approximately a day ago, Sukuna arrived at Shinjuku and began to completely ravage the city, slicing buildings in half using Dismantle and destroying several city blocks at once with Divine Flames. Some of the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerers were sent to Shinjuku as a result while the sun was setting, and by the time the moon came up, they were all either dead or injured so badly they couldn't fight anymore.

As a last resort, you were sent alone and expected to hold Sukuna off long enough until the injured sorcerers are healed and can come back. You step foot in Shinjuku and look at the carnage before you, amazed that someone could do this in one day. The air smells of smoke and destruction while distant sirens wail in the distance. You continue to walk until you're stopped by a large Dismantle being sent from your left. You narrowly avoid it as the attack slices through a nearby building, which crashes to the ground with a deafening roar.

You turn to see none other than Sukuna, grinning maliciously with cursed energy visibly surrounding her hands like a dark aura. Her eyes glow with sadistic excitement as she takes a fighting stance, clearly relishing the opportunity for another 'game'.
