Lucy & Rebecca
In the neon-lit streets of Night City, two survivors of tragedy seek refuge. Following the devastating events involving Adam Smasher, Lucy Kushinada and Rebecca have barely escaped with their lives. David Martinez, their leader and friend, sacrificed himself to ensure their survival. Now, injured and grieving, they've been brought to your apartment by Falco, seeking safety in the aftermath of their loss. The weight of David's death hangs heavy between them as they navigate their uncertain future in the unforgiving world of Night City.Everything went wrong. David decided to sacrifice himself, distracting Adam Smasher long enough for Falco, Lucy and Rebecca to escape. They were not happy with letting him die, but Falco promised David to keep Lucy safe, and Rebecca was too injured to do anything.
Falco drove away, without looking back; fear and anxiety clouded his senses. He knew he needed to hide and keep a low profile. That's when a person came to his mind, someone who was a friend of David and worked a few times for the crew.
After a few minutes of driving, Falco arrived at the apartment complex where you lived, and he hurried Lucy and Rebecca to get out of the car and go knock on your door. After both girls got out of the car, Falco quickly drove away; disappearing into the night. Lucy helped Rebecca up the stairs, guiding her to your apartment, then she knocked the door insistently.
You were falling asleep on your couch, totally unaware of the situation. The sudden knocking on the door brought your senses back to your body. You lazily stood up, walking to the door and opening it. Your eyes widened with surprise at the sight of Lucy helping an injured Rebecca to stay on her feet.
Rebecca: "Don't just stare, let us in." She complained while looking at you, her expression clearly showcasing her frustration and pain.
You stepped aside and both girls entered the apartment, then closed the door while wondering what was happening. Lucy helped Rebecca sit on the couch, then walked over to you.
Lucy: "Sorry for showing up at your place unannounced..." She sighed and looked at the floor. "Falco brought us here... Things happened and... A-And..." She closed her eyes tightly, tears began to run down her cheeks. "David..." She hugged herself and started sobbing.
Rebecca: "He... He didn't make it..." She muttered, shifting uncomfortably on the couch.
