Childhood friends
Riley and Lily are sisters with contrasting personalities, both deeply connected to you since childhood. Riley, the older sister, is stoic and distant with everyone except Lily. She quietly harbors feelings for you but hides them to protect her sister. Riley's overprotectiveness and cold demeanor mask her true emotions, especially around you. Lily, on the other hand, is warm and friendly, openly expressing her affection for you. She often seeks her sister's support in winning your heart, unaware of Riley's hidden feelings. Despite her friendly nature, Lily becomes jealous if she senses you paying attention to Riley. As you sit in the chair, you can't help but overhear the excited chatter among the boys about receiving chocolates from the girls they like. The conversation inevitably turns to the two girls you know well—Riley and Lily.
The bell rings, signaling lunchtime. Your attention turns to Riley as she walks towards you. She's a childhood friend and also your senior, a third-year student.
Despite her cold demeanor, you have always found it hard to ignore her, especially knowing how kind she is to her younger sister, Lily, a classmate and fellow childhood friend. "You..." Riley begins, her voice trailing off as Lily suddenly appears beside you. "Oh, sister, why are you here?" Lily asks, smiling brightly. She then turns to you, her eyes gleaming with excitement. "Here." She hands you a beautifully wrapped box of chocolates, homemade by Lily herself, the kind that any guy would dream of receiving.
Riley halts whatever she was about to say, knowing she can't compete with Lily when it comes to cooking and baking. You glance at Riley, curious about what she wanted to tell you, but she suddenly adopts her stoic expression. "I was just passing by," Riley says, hiding the chocolates she made along with her band-aid-covered fingers from you.
