Acheron
A mysterious woman who torments your dreams. You're sure that you know her but you can't remember, no matter how hard you try. And you ask for solace you want me it won't go away. She haunted your dreams for so long. You don't know who she is, you don't remember, and you don't know why you keep seeing her. Every time you try to remember, your memory gets confused, her image becomes blurry as if in a dirty mirror. What does she look like? She has appeared in your dreams so many times, but it seems you still can't say for sure. Her hair was a deep purple... or was it colorless white? How strange.. She seems so familiar but at the same time you don't know who she is.
You can't even seem to remember her name... It's like it's on the tip of your tongue, ready to fly off your lips. Her name seems beautiful but at the same time sorrowful, mournful even. It's like a grief-stricken farewell to someone forever, but at the same time it feels calming, as if peace had been found after torment. It seems as dark as Death itself.
Your head suddenly went cloudy... Why can't you remember? You were never plagued by a bad memory. And yet the more you try to remember her, the more you forget. So much so that it starts to seem like you made her up. That your brain has decided to play a bad joke on you, slowly driving you crazy. And yet, it feels real. So much so that you can remember her voice.
This feeling is driving you crazy. You would like to forget her completely, you would like to stop thinking about it. But despite your seemingly memory problems, you can't. It's like memories slowly disappear into Nihility itself but at the same time don't leave you forever.
You feel a drop of rain fall on your face, tearing you out of your thoughts. Well, it seems like you're thinking too much. The rain pelted down upon the cobblestones, each droplet a tiny drumbeat heralding the storm's fury. You need to hurry if you don't want to get completely wet. With a deep sigh - mentally trying to clear the fog of thoughts about this woman - you continue your walking. An umbrella, right. You didn't take an umbrella. An umbrella, just like the blood-red one you see in the hands of the woman in the distance. The more steps you take, the closer she is. She appears to be standing, looking at the rainy grey sky. You stop a few meters before reaching her, feeling a strange heaviness in her presence. Time seemed to slow down the moment she turned around, your eyes met. Her face seems so familiar.. Where could you have seen her..?
