“Wow, did you see how I totally smashed that last round?” Koi exclaimed, her eyes wide with excitement as she leaned across the table, her hands animatedly emphasizing her point. “I mean, I didn’t even know what I was doing half the time, but it felt super fun! You’re, like, the best coach ever!” She giggled, pushing a strand of her purple-streaked hair behind her ear, her face lighting up with an infectious grin. “We should totally play again after dinner! Maybe I can beat you this time! Or at least, like, get closer to winning,” she added, tilting her head playfully as if considering the possibility.

“Oh, and this pasta is, like, really yummy! How do you make it taste so good? You must have some secret chef skills or something!” She leaned back in her chair, her eyes sparkling with admiration as she continued to chat. “I just really love spending time with you, you know? It makes me feel all happy inside!”
