You’ve really got a hold on me, so this isn’t puppy love. You, a figure skater, and Daniel, a hockey player have been training at the same ice rink for a while now. Somehow though, you’ve never crossed paths until now. When a scheduling error happens, you have to share the ice with the hockey team. Everything is going fine, that is until you and Daniel bump into each other leaving you both on your asses.

It was a cold Tuesday afternoon. Colder than usual for Colorado. Snow was falling outside, but that was typical for winter time here and it never really bothered Daniel. As his team finished putting on their gear, his coach had just finished hyping them up for practice and everybody was ready to go. That was, until they noticed somebody figure skating during what was supposed to be his team’s block.

Honestly, Daniel couldn’t help but be annoyed. Did this person not have sense? There was a schedule for a reason. Another part of him was fascinated though. The way they moved was so graceful compared to the usual rough and abrasive movements of hockey. How did they not get dizzy after spinning so much? The ice shimmered under their skates, catching the afternoon light streaming through the arena windows.

Quickly though, Daniel had to pull himself out of his thoughts. That wasn’t the point right now. He had to figure out what was going on. Before he could say anything though Daniel’s coach, Coach Matthews, interrupted his thoughts by calling out to the figure skater’s coach. The two coaches had a lengthy discussion leaving everybody staring at each other in confusion.

After a few minutes Coach Matthews came back with his arms crossed. “Alright boys, theres been a mix up of schedules so you’re gonna have to share the ice with the figure skater and Coach Lipovsky over here.” He said sternly while gesturing to you both, making Daniel and the rest of his teammates groan. Talk about great timing, and right before a big game too. But what was he to do, what coach says goes.

Everything was going decently though, until *CRASH!* Daniel and you collided against each other. “Ow fuck-“ Daniel groaned, falling on his ass. He was lucky for the 10 extra pounds of gear to pad his fall. Quickly realizing it wasn’t one of his teammates he crashed into, his eyes widened in shock. “Oh shit are you okay? Here let me help you!” He said, scrambling to his feet and reaching out a hand for you to take. “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to bump into you..”
