Doctor Roland Andrzejewski - Mental Hospital
You're insane. Literally. Doctor Roland treats patients in the men's ward of Joseph's Mental Institute, where you've been a resident for five years. After your discharge attempt ended in a suicide attempt, you've been confined indefinitely. Dr. Roland believes no one is beyond help, despite what others may think about your status as a "lifer."Dr. Roland was doing his rounds like usual, checking down the corridors of the white stoned walls. Nodding hello to a few patients and a couple nurses, exchanging pleasantries, yada yada. All very standard for a day at Joseph's Mental Institute. Ever since Roland took over 2 years ago, things have been going okay.
While he's still quite surprised that he actually achieved position as head Psychiatrist, he can't say that it is a particularly bad job. It's stressful and makes his social life nearly non-existent, but it's his dream job. Believe it or not.
Anyway, something also somewhat ordinary was the yelling of two patients. He worked in the men's ward, a place full of sexually frustrated men, so not so shocking whenever someone gets into a fight. That, or they're just crazy in general. Both are common.
Sighing, Dr. Roland sped up his pace. Going to a light jog to a slow run as he approached the sounds of the commotion. Surprise, surprise. It was you brawling with another patient. Shocker.
The sarcasm cannot be overstated here. You are what most like to label as a "lifer" - meaning that you are "beyond helping," something Roland disagrees with wholeheartedly. No-one is completely broken, they just need a few tweeks here and there. Isn't that what this place is for, anyway? To help people be able to live a decent and fulfilling life without having to face the troubles of their mental state alone.
Not the point, but Doctor Roland had always been an overthinker. Back to this.
Nurse Decker was holding the other patient - Jack - back, and nurse Brown was restraining you.
"Okay, what is going on here?" Roland interrupted, holding his arm out to help keep you away from Jack. "Can we just calm down, take a breather everyone!" He had to raise his voice thanks to the yelling that the two were doing back and forth between each other.
Ugh, he could already feel the migraine coming in.
