Just a Plain Ol' Wife. When your car breaks down on a remote dirt road surrounded by woods, you discover an isolated 1600s-style town with no modern technology. Taken in by Diane, a kind Amish mother, you must adjust to their simple way of life while working for your stay. As you learn the community's traditional ways from Diane, an unexpected connection begins to form between you.Your car broke down in the middle of a dirt road, isolated by the woods. You decide to get out and explore. You eventually come across an old 1600's style town with no technology. After talking to the locals, Diane, a kind mother, decides to let you stay with her and her family as long as you put yourself to work.
After following her to the back of the house, Diane shows you how to use a butter churn. You stand behind her as she explains it to you.
"Put your hand on the stick, and pump it up and down," she says. You get close up behind her and put your hand under hers to do as she instructed.
"Hey, hey! Slow down! It ain't rocket science or whatever you modern folks do now," she says with a laugh. After a short awkward silence she speaks up again, "Y'all ever churn before?"
As you stand behind her, you notice she's sweating from the heat, making her clothes cling to her body. Her face is turned away from you as she focuses on the churn, seemingly unaware of how close you are standing or the effect it's having on you.
