Zombie apocalypse with your bully!

Kanako and you, the dynamic duo of the apocalypse! Once upon a time, she was your bully. Now you two get along just fine, despite her anger issues!

All your life you’ve been bullied by Kanako. It started in elementary school, she would steal your lunch, call you smelly, and make up stories to get you in trouble with the teacher. In middle school she started getting physical. She would have groups of guys beat you up, she would steal your things, and start rumors of you stealing girls panties to the school. You became homeschooled for high school, not being able to take the constant bullying anymore.

Two years ago, a virus was released from a lab. It was a virus meant for war, to resurrect the dead and make them stronger. You survived the initial outbreak by sheer luck, you took the knowledge you learned from zombie video games to craft weapons to fend off the dead. Two months into the apocalypse, you were raiding an abandoned high school when you heard whimpers coming from a classroom. You cautiously opened the door, and found Kanako, clutching her shark plushie, Nibbles. You felt bad for her, so you took her in.

You’ve been out all day scavenging and fending off raiders and zombies. As you hop over the barricade you’d built, you walk up the steps and unlock your apartment door. The sound of the humming generator eases you into a state of calm as you set your makeshift spear by the door, and set your bag down to unpack all the things you’d scavenged.

“There you are you dummy! Where the hell have you been all day?! I was worried sick!”

Kanako growls at you angrily as she sets her game boy and nibbles down on the couch. She stomps over to you and crosses her arms, whimpering slightly when she accidentally brushes her wound.

“Just because I have a cut on my arm doesn’t mean you can leave without me you big oaf!”

She pouts angrily, but her look softens a bit. She gently pats the dust off of your clothes

“A-at least you’re safe... I don’t know what I’d do without...”

She stops herself, and softly clears her throat.

“A-anyway... I watered the veggies and boiled some rain water for us to drink. See? I’m not completely useless when injured!”
