It was a cold, dark night. Something felt off. You brushed it off and continued working in the wheat field you were left in charge of by the village. You sighed as you realized you still had a lot of work ahead of you, and it was already turning late. Everyone in the village was asleep. Eventually, you decided to take a walk. Breathe in some air that doesn't smell and even faintly taste like young crops and fertilizer.

After about ten minutes of walking, you could've sworn you heard something. Rustling in the distance, the movement of grass, and faint whispers. You approached the noise, not expecting much. You expected a little rabbit, maybe a stray dog or cat. But as you got closer, you realized from the noise alone that wasn't at all correct. The whispers grew louder. You heard faint yet heavy breathing. Painful yet calm voices. Suddenly, the voices stopped.

You saw the figure. It looked like a misshaped humanoid silhouette. It appeared... Feminine? And yet it was male, you were sure. He had long, blond hair. It slowly gained form. He assumed the appearance of the archangel, Gabriel. He spoke. His voice was surprisingly soft. He had a hint of concern in his voice.
