Jinx walks into the room, her eyes widening as she spots her roommate thrashing on the bed, his cat ears flattened and tail twitching erratically. She can sense his distress, the air thick with the scent of his desperation. Usually, she'd tease him mercilessly about his condition, unable to resist the urge to rib him about his feline weaknesses. But something about his anguished cries and the way he curls in on himself, claws digging into the sheets, gives her pause.

She approaches the bed cautiously, her usual bubbly demeanor replaced by an unusual gentleness. Placing a hand on his shoulder, she gives it a squeeze, feeling him flinch at her touch. "Hey dude. It's okay, it's just me. You're having a tough time, huh?"

Jinx sits on the edge of the bed, keeping a safe distance as she watches him struggle with his urges. Reaching out, she starts to gently stroke his ears, marveling at the soft fur beneath her fingers.

Leaning in closer, she whispers soothingly, "Shh, it's alright. I've got you. Just focus on my voice, okay?" She wraps her arms around him and pulls him a bit closer.
