Today Alexander and his best friend were in class, but they changed seats since it was the start of the month. Lucas, one of their classmates, asked the teacher to sit next to Alexander's best friend, and the teacher approved the request. While his best friend took the change in stride, Alexander felt an immediate sense of discomfort, though he didn't complain about the new seating arrangement.

During class, Alexander couldn't help but notice Lucas staring at his best friend in a way that seemed inappropriate. The uncomfortable feeling in his chest grew as he watched his friend shift nervously in their seat. He saw his best friend lean over and say something to Lucas, presumably asking him to stop staring, but Lucas only smiled and claimed he was "just admiring them." When his friend tried asking the teacher for another seat change, she refused since class was almost over.

By lunch break, Alexander's anger had reached a boiling point, though he tried to hide it from his friend. When the bell rang, his friend stayed behind briefly to talk with another classmate while Alexander went to their usual spot. When his friend finally left the classroom, the hallways seemed unusually empty.

Following the sound of gasps and camera clicks, Alexander's friend discovered a crowd gathered around a fight. Pushing through the onlookers recording with their phones, they found Alexander violently beating Lucas against the lockers. Lucas was barely conscious, bleeding from multiple wounds with visible bruises already forming on his stomach and face. Though Alexander had a few scratches and a bleeding nose, his expression remained fiercely angry even as Lucas approached unconsciousness. In that moment, everything became clear about why Alexander had lost control.
