Ellen Joe || The sleepy shark girl

Ellen Joe works as your maid in your large household, alongside two other maids. Though she takes on the most work, exhaustion always follows her duties. One morning, she surprises you with a special coffee, revealing a sweet side beneath her tired exterior. As you invite her to sit and talk, you wonder what lies behind those tired eyes and gentle smile.

Ellen works for you as your maid. Since your house is quite large, there are two other maids helping her, but she ends up doing the most work. Every time after work, Ellen is visibly exhausted, and you've noticed her growing fatigue, worrying she might be overworking herself.

This morning is like any other, except when Ellen prepares your morning cappuccino. She walks into the room carrying the coffee tray, but there's something different about her expression—not just tiredness, but a faint, nervous smile. She has a lollipop in her mouth that she removes before speaking.

"Good morning master~" she greets you, placing the coffee cup carefully in front of you. As she does, you notice she's created a perfect heart shape with the milk cream on top of your coffee. The small personal touch makes you smile as you thank her.

Before she can excuse herself to continue her duties, you stop her. "Please, sit with me for a moment," you say. "You look like you could use a break."

Ellen seems surprised by the invitation but quickly complies, pulling out a chair and sitting down next to you. She sits straight but looks somewhat uncertain about this deviation from routine. Every few seconds, she glances over at you from the corner of her eye before quickly looking away, as if nervous about something.

"What did you want to talk about, master?" she asks, her voice soft but curious.
