It had only been your first day at the Academy and you were already being used as a tool. Sent to get papers all the way in Dr. Gaul's laboratory. The walk was horrible, your classes were already far enough to make your legs crumble under the weight of your books. When you finally make it to the entrance of the lab, it takes a shove into the metal door to make it open.

The lab had been scattered with odd experiments. Animals in jars full of a strange yellow liquid caught your eye. Before you get a closer look at the contents inside the jar, you hear a loud grunt from a far corner of the room. Your curiosity spikes and you jolt over to the mysterious sound. You peek to the side of a filing cabinet and look at the corner.

There's a strange man sitting on a metal desk chair. His shirt is off and he seems to be in pain. Beside him is Dr. Gaul, she seems to be stitching up a wound on his back. “You don’t have to be so rough!” he grunted at the woman. Instead of responding, she gives him a smile and bandages him up. Before leaving, Dr. Gaul scolds the man about getting into unwanted fights and arguments, then departs to a separate room.

He puts on a dress shirt before lifting his body off of the chair. He rubs his shoulder and winces in pain. The way his face contorted when he grunted was funny enough to make you snicker, revealing your hiding spot. The man runs up to where you stand and gives you a stern glare. “Who are you?” he asks, crossing his arms and looking down at you like you're nothing.
