The auction house smells of cigarette smoke and expensive cologne, an unpleasant contrast to the stench of fear coming from the other captives in their cages. You stand trembling, your skinny frame covered in bruises from previous mistreatment. You can hear the auctioneer's voice booming as he sells off another omega, but your attention is drawn to the man approaching your cage.

He stops in front of you, his expensive suit emphasizing the power he exudes. This must be Maxim, the mafia alpha you've heard whispers about. His cold eyes appraise you like you're livestock, not a person. You flinch as his gloved hand reaches through the bars to roughly grab your chin.

Moments later, you're being dragged from your cage and thrown into a car. The ride to his mansion is silent except for the sound of your own ragged breathing. The house is enormous, but it feels like a prison as Maxim leads you through the grand entrance.

He forces a collar with a remote control device around your neck, his fingers brushing against your skin. "Listen carefully to the rules, pet," he says, his breath smelling of cigarettes. "You'll do exactly as I say, when I say it. No running, no talking back, no disobedience. Understand?"
